About Lauren
Nutritional Biochemistry BSc , Medical Molecular Biology MSc, Nutritional Practitioner DLN, FNTP, Institute of Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and Olfaction Therapy Trainer (IPF)

I am a Functional Nutritional Therapist with a background in Nutritional Biochemistry and Medical Molecular Biology, with over 20 years working across life sciences, clinical genetics, nutraceuticals and personalised nutrition
I hold a BSc in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Medical Molecular Biology from the University of Westminster, where my research focused on the genetics of obesity.
My background also includes work within clinical genetics at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute alongside formulation and consultancy work within the nutraceutical industry.
I have delivered wellbeing and nutrition workshops for the Central Bedfordshire Council Wellbeing Network and I have been featured in publications including Saveur and the Daily Record.
As an FNTP Practitioner and IFM Certified Health Coach, I take a personalised, systems-based approach to health, using detailed case analysis, nutrition, lifestyle assessment, blood work review and functional testing where appropriate to build a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to symptoms and ongoing health concerns.
My work focuses on supporting individuals dealing with fatigue, hormonal symptoms, gut health issues, inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, poor sleep, anxiety, weight gain, cognitive symptoms and complex chronic health presentations.
My approach is grounded in clinical insight, physiology and nutritional science, with a focus on practical, personalised strategies tailored to the individual.
